Queen's Crown

from $13.00

Medium Roast

Guatemala

Red Currant, Sweet Nougat, Chocolate, Almond

We consider this medium roast from Guatemala to be Rail Trail Roasters' "house roast". Deliciously balanced with plenty of complexity to explore, this coffee showcases everything we want to represent our roastery. Most notably, this coffee is sourced from 100% women-owned small farms.

Medium in both body and acidity, this coffee is balanced and flexible. Up front, we taste red currant and sweet nougat, which moves on to chocolate in the middle and finishes with a subtle almond note.

Region: Huehuetenango

Processing: Fully washed

Varieties: Bourbon, Caturra, Catuai

Altitude: 1200 - 1600 meters above sea level

Brewing Tips: Queen's Crown is suitable for a variety of brew methods including espresso and filter. We've found that it can be fun to push brew temperature higher to bring out an effervescent intensity to the acidity.
